James Callàs Ball studied BA Hons. Drama at the University of East Anglia and completed the 'Foundation in Acting' at RADA in 2012.  

James has worked both on film and stage in the UK and USA. He performed in the award-winning production Rose Rage (Propeller's adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry VI trilogy) with The Hidden Room Theatre in Austin, Texas.  

James appeared in the record breaking comedy sketch show NewsRevue at the Canal Café Theatre in November 2012.   He has been an active member of the National Youth Theatre, appearing in their productions Relish and Ghost Office respectively.  He wrote, produced and performed the short film Gracious Awakenings, which won the Judges Special Mention Award at the St Albans Film Festival 2013.  He is the founding member of The Callàs Company, which premiered their production, All or Nothing? at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2013 to critical acclaim. James supports his acting by writing, radio presenting, film making and his theatre company.
