Actresses » Emma Laird Craig

Long story short, after having a blast at the University of Edinburgh reading English Literature, Emma trained in the BA (Hons) Acting 3 Year programme at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. She was soon accepted into LAByrinth Theatre Company's Inaugural Ensemble Intensive in 2009. With her fellow multi-disciplinary collaborators in NYC, she co-founded a new writing theatre group called The LabRats who premiered 5 new plays and won the New York Innovative Theatre Award for Best Premiere Production 2013. Credit highlights (measured by kicks and kudos) include Kirsten in Strindberg’s Playing With Fire at The Box, NYC with the Private Theatre, Mrs. Sullen in The Beaux Stratagem in the TriForceSlam at Theatre Royal Stratford East, and Weimar Agitprop and burlesque at Chelsea Arts Club. On screen, she’s enjoyed improvising in mock-umentaries online and working in independent film as well as playing “mum” or “woman” in commercials. Follow her on IG @emmaleflay
