We've seen so many inaccurate, out of date, badly taken headshots and poorly cut, dull, boring showreels that we’ve decided to put together some fantastic packages to help you ‘get it right’. These packages have been developed as a result of all our years of experience. We can help you to be a success, providing you with a bespoke experience, not only offering you a high quality portfolio and/or reel, but also professional, solid advice that money can’t buy.

Your main headshot is the first thing any Casting Director sees and has to be a reflection of the true you. This is an exclusive, very competitively priced package that really helps you get the most out of your photographs.
Before you arrive at your shoot you will be sent some ‘homework’ in order to help you prepare. Please study this carefully as it will make you think and plan for what it is you are hoping to achieve from the session.
Our experienced hair / makeup artist is not there to restyle you. We want you to look like YOU in your photos. She will provide light, natural, healthy looking make up for women, powder down any shiny spots and cover any blemishes for men! She is also on hand to style your hair differently in order to achieve different looks in your photos (up to 3 styles).
Included in this package is a one on one pre-shoot consultation with Hannah Birkett, who has 15 years experience working in casting. Hannah Birkett is a very successful Casting Director. She first won a BTA Craft Advertising award for ‘Best Casting’ in 2003 and again in 2009. The BTA Craft Advertising Award is the only honour presented for casting in the country. She knows just what Casting Directors are looking for! Hannah will discuss with you the type of shots that appeal to Casting Directors and will explain what works and why. She will offer sensible, constructive advice to enable you to get the most out of the shoot itself.
The photoshoot, with exciting photographer Bruno Conrad, includes 3 wardrobe changes and both interior and exterior sittings (weather permitting!). Many photos will be taken and then edited down to around 100 of the best shots. These shots will be emailed to you in the form of a contact sheet. From this, you will choose your 2 favourite photographs that will be lightly retouched. You will also choose another 20 snaps to complete your package and these will all be put onto a CD in high resolution and posted to you. The final package will include 44 photographs on the CD as the 22 colour photographs you pick will be also be duplicated in black and white.

If you don’t have an up to date, interesting showreel then this package could provide a good option for you. When choosing actors to see for castings, many Casting Directors will now not see people who do not have a showreel unless they happen to have a significant CV. This can prove to be a vicious circle, as to get the professional footage you need to produce a show reel in the first place, or the jobs which are necessary to enable you to produce a professional CV, you need the work! Don’t leave it to luck; do as much as you can as an artist to get seen for appropriate jobs. We can offer you a way forward.
The Introduction and Monologue Package provides you with a simple but effective promotional tool. It is a chance to introduce yourself to professionals working in the industry, with a 2-3 minute show reel. This package allows you to present yourself to Casting Directors in the form of a quick profile, allowing them to immediately ascertain how you look and what you sound like. Following on from your profile, you will present a 2 minute long monologue of your choice. This is a great way for you to showcase your talent and for a Casting Director to see straight away what kind of a performance you can provide, and where your talents lie.
Before any shooting begins, you will have the opportunity to sit down with Casting Director Hannah Birkett and have a read through of what it is you’re thinking of putting on camera. She with give you impartial advice about how your performance may be improved and support you in understanding just what it is a Casting Director looks for.
After filming your initial profile, you will have the opportunity to undergo a wardrobe change. Your monologue, which you will introduce, will then be filmed in the studio. The monologue should have been carefully chosen, not just for length, but also for dramatic interest and the potential to show off your abilities. If you have an agent, we recommend that you discuss your introduction and monologue with them beforehand. They may have some valuable input on how you should introduce yourself and what monologue material may be beneficial to you.
Our highly experienced cameraman will work with you to capture the best possible footage. Upon completion, this material will then be edited into the finished product. Your Intro and Monologue Package will be uploaded and e-mailed to you, ready for you to upload to your personal acting résumé. You may also get a copy, by request, on DVD for an additional £12.00.
