Elie Bouakaze-Khan is an actor and writer living in East London. Born in Belgium to a French father and a British-Pakistani mother, he has spent much of his life living abroad in Turkey, Botswana and New York City.

He trained at Identity School of Acting while undertaking a degree in English Literature at Queen Mary University of London. Shortly after graduating, he received his most notable role in the 2020 Irish sci-fi thriller film Sea Fever, which awoke to high acclaim at the Toronto International Film Festival. Other credits include a minor role in The Marvels for Marvel Entertainment, as well as stage productions of King Lear for Queen Mary Theatre Company, Aristophanes at Kaye Playhouse, and The Sound of Smoke at Brotherhood Theatre. He has also worked as a voice actor for video games and animation.

Elie appreciates openness and inclusion in the film industry, and hopes to create opportunities for increased diversity both in front of and behind the camera.
